The U.S.D.A. Forest Service, through the Treeture Educational Program and the Treeture program partners, promotes planting, care, protection and judicious use of the nation's forests.

The Forest Service is committed to continue to educate our youth on the importance of trees, our nations's forest and their conservation and use.

The U.S.D.A. Forest Service cooperates with the partners as an advisor to development of overall Treeture program concepts and program implementation.

The U.S.D.A. Forest Service assists with communicating the importance of the Treeture Educational Program through educational facilities and programs.

The U.S.D.A. forest Service supports the Treeture Educational Program and its partners through the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act of 1978 (section 10(a), 16USC 2109).
